Seventh Generation is sponsoring the Spheres of Influence Contest. Seventh Generation, the maker of green cleaning products, is a leader in corporate sustainability. The company has released its 2007 Corporate Consciousness Report. According to the Report, it "documents our efforts—some successful, some less so—to inspire our partners, our industry, and the wider business community to embrace a model of deeper business purpose, where economic growth is merged with social justice."
The Spheres of Influence Contest asks businesses and organizations to read the report, get inspired, and come up with an idea that will be implemented with the prize money. The judges will base their decisions on the following criteria: inspiration from the 2007 Seventh Generation Annual Report Spheres of Influence, interest in and excitement about regenerative business, creativity, practicality, and pre-development of plan, and the number of systems the idea will influence. The winner will be awarded $5,000 to be used for funding the idea presented.
The deadline for submissions is December 31, 2008.
