Thanksgiving Coffee, one of last year's Sustainable & Responsible Business' of the Week, has launched a new website. On the website, you can watch a trailer of a documentary in progress about their line of Delicious Peace (Mirembe Kawomera) coffee grown by the Peace Kawomera Cooperative of Jewish, Christian and Muslim farmers. This story is covered in the August issue of O, The Oprah Magazine, available on newstands now.
You can also read about the Bikes to Rwanda campaign which raised enough money to build a bike shop and also seeks to provide cargo bicycles for co-op coffee farmers in Rwanda. In addition, the website tells the story of the company and its sustainability initiatives. And don't forget to purchase one of the Coffees for a Cause products, a gift basket, or other accessories!
